CREATIVE READING & WRITING – For advanced and native English speakers.

We will read and discuss multi-genre classic and contemporary literary texts in English and complete writing exercises inspired by the texts. Participants who choose the writing feedback option will receive individualized critique on their writing according to their levels and needs. For example, English language learners may seek corrections on English grammar while native speakers may seek more in-depth advice on creative writing craft.

Former students are welcome to take this course as we will cover all new material. It may also be taken simultaneously with the Advanced Creative Writing Workshop.*

ADVANCED CREATIVE WRITING WORKSHOP – For native and fluent English speakers with some previous creative writing experience.

This workshop will operate as a guided writing critique group tailored to the goals of the participants. Each session, we will exchange feedback on each other’s work and discuss craft readings relevant to our objectives. You will be supported in your own writing discipline, receive in-depth feedback on your work, and develop skills in identifying and solving problems in revision. We will meet biweekly as well as share online. Former students welcome. May be taken simultaneously with Creative Reading & Writing.* Reading widely is an important aspect of your development as a writer!
